Ryan Cullen TSolve – 1

Critically acclaimed Edinburgh based Irish stand-up comedian Ryan Cullen is known for his jet-black humour, razor-sharp one-liners and fearless approach to the darkest corners of comedy.

Originally from Donegal, Cullen has carved out a reputation for his brutal wit and deadpan delivery that leaves audiences howling and horrified in equal measure. A regular at major comedy festivals, Cullen has performed to acclaim at the Edinburgh Fringe, Adelaide Fringe (Best of the Edinburgh Fest), Altitude Comedy Festival, Vodafone Comedy Carnivals (Dublin & Galway), Electric Picnic, Snowbombing, Otherlands, and more.

On stage, he’s supported acts like Daniel Sloss, Theo Von, and Steve-O while regularly headlining top clubs across the UK and Ireland including The Stand, Glee Clubs, Monkey Barrel, The Laughter Lounge, The International, Lavery’s and The Belfast Empire.

Internationally, Cullen is also recognised as one of the top roast battlers in the world. He runs Roast Battle Scotland and has performed at legendary venues like The Comedy Store in Los Angeles and Denver Comedy Works, cementing his place in the global roast comedy scene.

Off stage, he’s an accomplished writer, having written for acclaimed TV comedy shows including Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC), Republic of Telly, Clear History, Late Licence (BBC NI), and Callan’s Kicks (RTÉ).

Cullen has also made his mark on YouTube as a core performer on the wildly popular Facts (700M+ views, 1.5M subs) and Try channels (1.3M subs). He co-hosts the comedy podcast Absolute Cuts with Mark Nelson, and has appeared on BBC’s The Comedy Underground, MTV, and RTÉ.

Ryan Cullen is one of my favourite comedians. Hilarious and so dark you think, ‘How the f**k did he end up like this?’
– Daniel Sloss (Netflix)

Big laughs. His material has the ruthlessness of a young Jimmy Carr and the sexual turpitude of Jim Jefferies at his most priapic. This is extraordinary stuff.
– Kate Copstick (The Scotsman)

Ryan Cullen looks unassuming… but his clever black humour had the crowd gasping in horror and giggling simultaneously!
– Comedy Scoop

REALLY good dark humour. One-liners with a dark twist… and great interactions with the crowd!
– The Stand, Glasgow
