The project is curriculum based, with a blend of Drama and Education allowing the children the opportunity to learn and absorb knowledge through experience and self discovery.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the benefits of the Drama in Action Project are:<\/p>\n<p>It encourages teamwork, promoting understanding and feeling for the ideas of others<\/p>\n<p>Students who participate on the programme show definite improvements in concentration skills, creative thinking, listening, oral responses and problem solving.<\/p>\n<p>The programme allows teachers to see first-hand the implementation of Drama in a practical manner and to learn implementation methodologies.<\/p>\n<p>Explore issue-based themes as in the Social Personal &amp; Heath Education Programmes and link with other curriculum subjects.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The \u2018Drama in Action\u2019 Project is delivered in Primary Schools throughout Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
