Strabane songwriter, producer and bandleader Darren Doherty spent the formative years of his musical career in Donegal followed by a decade in Belfast’s competitive music scene. Returning home to Strabane in 2017 he formed The Heathen Choir and has had a steady rise, releasing quality studio and live albums almost every year since.

Doherty has performed performed alongside Paul Brady, Bap Kennedy, Fight Like Apes, The 4 of Us and has continually reinvented and reinterpreted his music to keep it fresh and original at all times.

Now in 2023 he returns with a new one man show, ‘The Life & Times of Me’.

This is no acoustic gig! Doherty will be presenting brand new material in an eclectic and innovative fashion using synths, electro beats and sound design to showcase a truly unique and innovative way of doing it by yourself.

Opening act is Belfast artist Rory Nelis.
