Clare man David Hope first came to our attention in February ’22 when he blew us away with a wonderful set opening for John Spillane. He followed that up with a stellar Ghostlight performance last September – the beauty and depth of his songs, the almost sepia tone of his impressive voice and the raw elegance of his guitar playing elicited a great audience response.

David has gigged extensively throughout Ireland and mainland Europe over the last 15 years. He released a fantastic album – This Is The Sea (his 5th studio album) – last year. One of our favourite Ghostligh artists from last year we’re delighted to have him back.

Schoolyard Champions is the music of Knockmore’s Cathal Faughnan. Best described as folk pop, the lyrics swing from heavily political to very silly. Cathal is just putting the finishing touches to an album release – be among the first to get a sneak preview before it hits the mainstream.

Dander are an alt-folk/indie band based in Derry. Fronted by Kevin Brown and Jennifer Hughes, their style ranges from dreamy guitar pop to intimate, acoustic folk; drawing influence from artists such as Tom Waits, Sufjan Stevens, Bonnie “Prince” Billy and Nick Drake, but with an ever present Irish influence and a focus on vocal harmonies and lyricism.
