Originally from Donegal, now based in Belfast, Eve Belle has been described by The Sunday Times as Ireland’s freshest pop voice. She released her debut album In Between Moments in October 2022 to much acclaim including a 4 star review from The Irish Times. Since the release, Eve has found her way back to her lyrical roots, returning to a musical style which puts earnest emotion and honesty to the fore, with influences such as Julien Baker, Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers.

Across her career, Eve has performed across Ireland and the UK, supporting artists including Hozier, Frightened Rabbit, Mick Flannery and Wyvern Lingo. Her cover of Coldplay’s Violet Hill was shared on social media by the band themselves, with the interpretation receiving praise from Chris Martin.

Newly independent, Eve is writing and recording new material at present and looking forward to exciting new releases in 2023.’

Clare man David Hope first came to our attention last February when he blew us away with a wonderful set opening for John Spillane. We were blown away by the beauty and depth of his songs, the almost sepia tone of his impressive voice and the raw elegance of his guitar playing and we immediately made it our business to book him for a Ghostlight Sessions.

David has gigged extensively throughout Ireland and mainland Europe over the last 15 years. He’ll come to The Ghostlight Sessions fresh off the release of his latest album To The Sea which is due for release on September 1st. You can check out three of the songs released as singles in advance of the album – Lovers Leap (Coast of Clare), Moon and Back’ and ‘Whiskey Mornings’ on the usual digital services.

Scottish/Irish singer songwriter Nik Pollock enjoyed previous success as lead singer in Mojo GoGo. Since parting ways with his friends in Mojo GoGo, Nik has continued releasing music as a solo artist to considerable acclaim. In 2021 he released his single First along with a Tarantino styled music video and later in the year the tongue in cheek Rich Girls. February 2022 saw Nik release his melancholy take on Joy Divisions Love Will Tear Us Apart followed by the 3 track ‘Revisited’ EP and a music video for the song ‘Helpless# inspired by Buster Keaton.

A prolific artist who is continuously writing and recording – keep an eye out for a steady stream of new releases.
