With over 50 years in show business Red Hurley is an entertainer who has stood the test of time.
From starting out with Red Hurley and The Wheels, progressing to front the famous Nevada Showband to now as he begins a 6th decade as a star-studded entertainer, Red has moved and entertained audiences wherever he goes.
A 4 year stint on BBC Radio 2s Sing Something Simple earned him the admiration and friendship of legendary broadcaster Terry Wogan while his rendition of How Great Thou Art at American poet and Civil Rights activist Dr. Maya Angelou’s 80th birthday party moved her ‘adopted daughter’ Oprah Winfrey to tears.
Red has performed everywhere during his lengthy career from Africa to Europe, the USA and all places inbetween. Everywhere he goes he’s always asked the same question: “When are you coming back!”
Don’t miss Red Hurley live in concert at The Balor this November.
