Did you know that Welsh poet Dylan Thomas spent the summer of 1935 in Donegal?
Did you know that he wrote half a dozen poems for his second collection here?
Did you know that he came to dry out but ended up half tore in a ‘virtual poteen republic’?
Did you know that he left under a cloud with debts unpaid?
The events of that summer are reimagined in darkly comedic fashion in One Night at Glenlough, a new play written by Shaun Byrne (Margaret, An Incident with Dave Cotter) and directed by Charlie Bonner (Drumboe).
