The following guide is for people with disabilities. The Balor is committed to ensuring that services are accessible to visitors with disabilities. Please contact us if you have any comments that would help us improve our service
There are two car parks at both the front (audience access) and rear (stage access) of the building within feet of the venue.
The area directly outside the Balor is available as a drop-off and collection point during main events. The venue is staffed around one hour before a performance begins – We are happy and available to give assistance if required.
Entry into the building is at street level. Wheelchair access to the foyer is via the automatic door to the right of the revolving doors at the front of the building. The auditorium and bar can be accessed via elevator. The elevator has lowered control positions and speech indication and all contain signs in Braille. Each lift can fit one wheelchair user and one person. Staff are on hand at events to provide assistance if required.
The Balor Box Office has low level counter. Hearing enhancement systems are also available at the Box Office counter.
The Balor has a maximum of 5 spaces for wheelchairs in the auditorium – 2 in the front row and 3 in the back row. Please advise box office staff when booking if you require a wheelchair space and we will allocate your seats accordingly.
Facilities for those with hearing difficulties
Assisted hearing facilities are available for the main auditorium – headsets are available from the Box Office desk in the main foyer.Contact the box office for arrangements 074-9131840
Guide dogs are welcome. Please let us know at time of booking so we can allocate your seats accordingly.
