YES web

An evening of music and comedy in aid of the Donegal Together For Yes Campaign.
Headlining is Elaine Mai who, since starting out as a solo performer in 2011 has been crafting a reputation for atmospheric and melodic electronic music. Her new EP ‘The Colour of the Night’ has seen her hailed as one of Irelands leading electronic artists.

Joining her on the bill are Susie Blue whose pop anthem and alt rock guitar and synth sound has graced stages at both Glastonbury and Electric Picnic as well as performing at Other Voices in Dingle.

Leitrim musician Ailie Blunnie  is fresh from Whelan’s Ones To Watch 2018 and Templebar Tradfest. She’s making waves in the new Irish music scene following the release of her debut album West To The Evening Sun last November.

Comedian Aoife O Connor was a finalist in the Irish stage of the 2018 Funny Women Competition and is set to play the first ever all-female stage at this year’s Electric Picnic.

Great White Lies music has taken them across Ireland, LA and Canada with highlights including appearances at Stendhal, YouBloom, supporting Hannah Peel at Northern Xposure and appearances on RTE and BBC television and radio.

Donegal’s Blackbird and Crow are Maighread Ni Ghrasta (Vocals) and Stephen Doohan (Guitar/Bouzouki /Stomp). Their music is best described as Janis Joplin meets Ry Cooder with a sprinkling of Fleetwood Mac in their early years. They released their single ‘I Gave Away My Home’ and album ‘SHOCK SHATTER CONVINCE’ in early 2017 and are quickly making a name for themselves as one of the most hardworking and driven bands on the Irish scene.
