Set in 1950’s and 60’s Belfast, Two Sore Legs tells the remarkable true story of playwright Brenda Murphy’s mother Bridget – a young Butlin’s Redcoat who had 6 children by a married man.

Maria Connolly’s brilliant performance takes you through the scandal, the pain, the joy and the fallout from this extraordinary family arrangement.

Two Sore Legs comes to The Balor in the wake of a clutch of outstanding reviews. The show has sell-out runs at Belfast’s Lyric Theatre and the Edinburgh Festival and plays here as part of a national tour before opening in Belfast’s Grand Opera House in October.
