Our Krypton Son is the musical vehicle for Derry’s Chris McConaghy – a prodigious talent merging superb musicianship with a great pop sensibility. Having gathered plaudits as an acoustic solo act on the Irish circuit, sharing stages with David Kitt, Gemma Hayes and Jape, he gathered together close musical friends to create Our Krypton Son. The resulting NI Music Prize Album of the Year nominee has been described as “A work of genius” (State.ie) and “A textured, thoughtful and beautiful piece of work from start to finish” (Hotpress)
“Our Krypton Son is one of the best songwriters I’ve ever heard. The songs blaze with originality” –  Stephen McCauley – BBC Radio Ulster – Electric Mainline
Born in Cork, based in Bangor, Co. Down Nathan O’Regan is steeped in music tradition. With a voice as gritty as it is delicate and songs that speak of young adulthood, O’Regan, tells stories of love, hate, light and dark and he tells them well.
Donegal singer/songwriter Tommy Callaghan has been recording and releasing his own material under various monikers (including Heads of State, Our Native State) for almost 20 years. He’s  currently writing and recording new material for folk collective “The Midnight Session Band” and for a new solo project. Expect a mix of Indie Folk and Alt-Country delivered in style.
Ghostlight Sessions host Dean Maywood is not just a handsome and witty MC he’s also a singer-songwriter of note himself. As the Ghostlight Sessions celebrates it’s first birthday it’s about time that he got a slot to showcase his own music for a change. His music has been described by Hot Press Magazine as an absorbing listen full of passion and pathos. Dean’s emotive performance and haunting storytelling draw you in to tales of love, loss, heartache and joy
