Male/female 4-piece Billow Wood (formerly known as Flat Out) are a male/female four-piece. They combine folk indie pop and rock with innovative instrumentation and multi-vocal harmonies. The won the Ballyshannon’s Folk Festival Original Music Showcase in 2017 and subsequently launched their debut EP ‘Can You See Me’ to a sold out Whelan’s in Dublin.

Co. Monaghan based Barry Jay Hughes has been working hard in recent years carving his own style of Rhythmic folk and Alternative Rock. Barry Jay’s “Acoustic, Live & Honest” album was released in November 2017 and was followed by a Winter Tour of Ireland & UK.

Eighteen year old Jessica Doherty from Northern Ireland received widespread critical acclaim for her debut single Wolves. Selected by Generator Northern Ireland for their talent development programme she has supported artists such as SOAK, Janet Devlin and Booka Brass Band in addition to appearances at several high profile events including Glasgowbury, Other Voices Music Trail and MTV Crashes.

After 12 years performing together in various genres and settings Michael Gillespie and Zara Montgomery finally made the move into exploring their own music with the 2016 release of their EP B;ackbirds  combining elements of alt folk, rock and ambient sounds.
