Power vocalist Pearl Natasha combines thumping rhythms and anthemic choruses guaranteed to keep the crowd dancing. Her experiences as a Zimbabwean-Irish girl growing up in Derry inform her musical kaleidoscope.  A new single – Lights On – is coming soon with plans for world domination not far behind.
After a lengthy foray into the world of film-making Ronan Gallagher turned his creative energy to music and found that onstage was where he truly belonged. His music career has hit the ground running, putting together a crack band including double Bassist Marc Geagan, guitarist Zac Drummond (both ex Mirenda Rosenberg Band) Sean Reynolds (Slow Place Like Home) on drums, Donal McGuinness on trombone, Matt Jennings and Sean McCarron on saxophones. His debut album Always Broke Never Broken is due for release this year.
Derryman Conor Mason’s music conjures the wistful wonderment of Villagers, Elliott Smith and Matthew Jay. His intuitive song writing and storytelling abilities reveal themselves in hushed, lilting vocals and subtle instrumentation – rich and warm yet shrouded in melancholy. He already has three albums under his belt with a fourth entitled On The Surface soon to be released via Armellodie Records.
Maria McCormick comes to The Ghostlight fresh from releasing her debut album I Choose To Love. Produced by Billy Robinson and Pat Crowley in Ramelton’s Grooveshack recording studio it features an impressive array of musical talent including Declan Mc Clafferty, Peadar Coll, Lawrence Doherty, Richie Buckley, Seamus Devenney and Jonathan Smeaton – testimony to the respect she has earned from her peers during her 20 years experience gigging and songwriting.
