A native Texan, Kimmie Rhodes singing career began at the age of 6 with her family gospel trio. She moved to Austin and recorded her first album in 1981 when Willy Nelson invited her to use his studio.

A prolific artist she has released 16 solo albums, written and produced 3 musical plays and recently published her memoir ‘Radio Dreams’. Her multi-platinum selling songs have been recorded by stellar acts such as Willy Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris and the list of artists she has collaborated with reads like a Who’s Who of American country music.
