Goat’s Don’t Shave are back at The Balor!

Following the amazing reaction to their Turf Man Blues CD here at The Balor in April Goats Don’t Shave have announced a return to Ballybofey in September.

The CD launch gig was truly an amazing night. Frontman Pat Gallagher in an interview with Paul McDevitt on Highland Radio proclaimed it to be in his top 5 of Goat’s Don’t Shave gigs ever and it’s definitely up there with the best nights of music we’ve ever had the pleasure of hosting.

There’s only a handful of bands that can use the term ‘legendary’ without being accused of hyperbole but Donegal’s Goats Don’t Shave are undoubtedly one of them. Their iconic hit Las Vegas (in the hills of Donegal) is still one of Irish folk rocks most instantly recognisable songs. Frontman and songwriter Pat Gallagher’s songs have been recorded by many artists all over the world.

This special Balor gig sees Pat rejoin his old Goats Don’t Shave partners in crime, bringing the same intensity, skill and entertainment that have made them one of Donegal music’s iconic acts.
