A musical comedy featuring the songs of Elvis Presley

St Columba’s College Stranorlar present their 2017 school musical All Shook Up – the story of a small town girl with big dreams and the motorcycle riding stud she falls for.

It’s 1950’s America and Natalie (Eilish Friel) dreams of love and adventure yearning for her true love to appear and spirit her away from her dreary small town life. Chad (Declan Bryson) has just got out of jail. When he rocks up on his motorbike things are never going to be the same.

Based on Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, All Shook Up takes you on a journey to 1955 middle America, where one girls dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar-playing stranger help a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock & roll.

Among the 24 songs featured in the score are Elvis classics like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Love Me Tender,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and of course the title tune “All Shook Up”.
