“There’s no telling where or how the holy ghost hpw of country music finds its souls to inhabit, but with results like this, it’s hard to argue that it hasn’t found a home in Ags Connolly” – Saving Country Music
Joining Ags on the bill is Leo Rondeau who make the trip from Austin, Texas. A child of the rural American west and owning family lineage within the Turtle Mountain band of the Chippewa Indian tribe Leo’s music is heavily influenced by the likes of Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers and Townes Van Zandt. Dealing in stories candid, honest and plainspoken there are echoes of early Tom Waits in his tunes sombre appreciation of the darker realities of life lightened by the trademark hopefulness of his own history and worldview.
Leo has performed at popular American festivals such as Pickathon, SXSW, Bristol Rhythm and Roots as well as the Australian festival Dashville Skyline amongst countless venues in America and abroad.
